Anything particularly spicy today? Make these delicious Turkish meatballs from the oven!
Ingredients

500 g lamb or minced beef
0,5 onion
- 2 slices of white bread
- two gloves of garlic
- 1 egg

1,5 tbsp Ankerkraut Köfte spice

1 EL oil
- 1 small can of chopped tomatoes

1 tbsp Ankerkraut sea salt

0,5 TL Ankerkraut black pepper
- 1 green pepper
Preparation
For the kofta, soak white bread in water. In the meantime, minced meat, ¼ diced onion, 2 cloves of pressed garlic, egg and Ankerkraut Köfte spice knead. Squeeze out the white bread well and knead it. Chill the meat mixture in the refrigerator.
- For the sauce, fry the remaining chopped onion with the remaining pressed garlic in oil. Pour in tomato paste and chopped tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.
- Form the kofta into meatballs about 5cm in size and fry them on all sides in a little oil.
- Cut green peppers into strips.
- Pour the sauce into a baking dish and add the fried kofta. Cover with paprika and bake for about 40 minutes at 180 degrees lower/top heat.
- Served with flatbread, the Turkish specialty is perfect!
