Tex-Mex in its most delicious form: Chili con carne doesn't always have to be spicy, just cook it with our recipe and enjoy it in a relaxed manner!

- 800 g ground beef
- 2 big onions
- Oil for frying
- 1 pepper, orange
- 2 EL tomato paste

- 1 can of tomatoes
- 1 can of kidney beans
- 1 can of corn

500 ml broth
Preparation
- Cut the onions into cubes and fry them, add the minced meat and let it fry. Stir occasionally and break up the minced meat.
- Cut the peppers into cubes and add them to the minced meat. Add tomato paste and fry a little. The tomatoes and 2 tbsp Ankerkraut Add mild chili con carne spice. Fill with broth and simmer over medium heat for 30 - 45 minutes. If the liquid has boiled away, keep adding broth.
- Shortly before the end of the cooking time, add the beans and corn. Cook these only briefly. Then taste everything again and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Chili tastes best well cooked, so it's great to prepare the day before!
