With our recipe, the popular classic farmer's breakfast is quick and easy! With crispy bacon and a few pickles it becomes simply delicious.
Ingredients

800g boiled potatoes from the day before
two onions
250 g bacon
4 eggs
30 ml of milk
-
1 tbsp farmer's breakfast spice

1 tbsp salt
3 EL butter lard
4 pickles
Preparation
Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices approx. 1 cm thick.
Peel and dice onions.
Whisk the eggs, add the milk and season with the salt and the farmer's breakfast spice.
Heat the clarified butter in the pan and fry the potatoes until they are slightly crispy. Add onions and fry until translucent.
Now add the ham cubes and fry briefly.
Pour the egg-milk mixture over the potatoes and let it simmer for 5 minutes on the lowest setting with the lid closed. Turn over using the lid and fry for another 5 minutes until golden brown.
Then turn it out onto a plate and serve with a pickle.
