The Tex-Mex evergreen: steaming chili con carne. The hit for every birthday party!
Attention: Of course, be sure to choose the mild version for children!
Ingredients

- 325 g ground beef
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic

1 EL oil
- 400 g chopped tomatoes (1 can)
- 200 g kidney beans (1/2 can)

- 1 pepper, red
Preparation
- Cut the onion, garlic and pepper into small pieces and sauté briefly in oil.
- Ankerkraut Add the chili con carne spice (mild or hot, as you like it ;-)) and continue frying briefly.
- Then add the ground beef and fry, stirring constantly.
- Now add the chopped tomatoes, stir well and simmer over medium heat for about 90 minutes. Add some vegetable broth if necessary.
- About 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the washed kidney beans to the pan or pot.
