The Bengal region is known for its abundance of fish and that is why many delicious fish recipes come from there and enrich the diversity of Indian cuisine!
Ingredients

- 400 grams of cod
- some flour for breading

2 EL oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 small onion
- 1 cm fresh ginger

1,5 tbsp Ankerkraut Curry Madras

1 TL Ankerkraut Sea salt, fine

0,5 TL Ankerkraut, coarse black pepper (ground)
- 300 ml fish stock
Preparation
- Cut the cod into pieces and cover with enough flour all over.
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fish for 4-6 minutes on each side and then remove.
- Peel and chop the garlic, ginger and onion and lightly fry them in the same pan. Give Ankerkraut Add Curry Madras and continue frying briefly.
- Deglaze the sauce with the fish stock and season with salt and pepper.
- Put the fish back in the sauce and let the curry steep a little
- Serve the Bengali fish curry with rice or enjoy it on its own.
