A barbecue party without a BBQ burger? Not with us! This delicious burger recipe brings new zest to the grill!
Ingredients

- 400 grams of minced meat
- 1 beaten egg yolk
- 1 TL mustard

2 tbsp Ankerkraut Pit powder
- two onions

1 EL oil

1 tbsp Ankerkraut BBQ rub
- 1 EL sugar
- 50 ml balsamic vinegar
- 2 slices of cheddar
- 1 large tomato
- 4 strips of bacon
- 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
- 2 burger buns
Preparation
- Minced meat with egg yolk, mustard and Ankerkraut Mix pit powder and form into burger patties.
Cut onions into rings and sauté in oil. Add sugar and let it melt a little. Deglaze with balsamic and add Ankerkraut Season BBQ rub. Let caramelize for 3 minutes.
- Fry the bacon in a pan until it is crispy, then remove and drain. Make a depression in the burger patties with your fingers and fry them in the same fat for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Add the cheddar cheese to the patties and cover and melt.
- Toast the burger buns, spread with BBQ sauce and stack patties, bacon, caramelized onions and tomatoes on top.
- Serve fresh BBQ burgers with homemade fries.
